Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale! Will be held at the ARC of Schuyler, 12th Street, Watkins Glen on Thursday June 6th  4:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Friday June 7th 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday June 8th 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Donations for the sale will be accepted starting May 1 at the smaller ARC building on the north side of 12th Street during ARC business hours, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

 
Thanks to an Outreach Mini-Grant from the Southern Tier Library System, we are adding new DVDs with a "Described Video Track" for the visually impaired to our collection. These grant-funded DVDs are available for holds and for loan throughout the library system.

    

 Pre-school Storytime: Wednesday at 10 am.  Home School Storytime: Thursday at 9 am. All are welcome

The library is a Wi-Fi hotspot! check at the desk for network password.

 Did you know? You can search and place holds in STARcat with an iPOD or iPad or Android device using the updated free BookMyne app, available at the App Store. Forgot the title of that bestseller or award winner? Book Myne includes many lists of current NY Times bestsellers and every award you can think of!

New! login to your account from the library's Facebook Page! Click on "Search STARCat".

Free eBooks from our digital catalog are compatible with Kindle, Nook, Sony e-reader iPad and many other devices. New titles are being added every day. Go to stls.lib.overdrive.com (or click on the link on this website) to select your titles or place holds on them! Having trouble downloading library ebooks? we can usually help! give us a call or email watkins@stls.org 

NOOK now has an Overdrive Media Console app!  Many NOOK owners can now download library ebooks directly to their NOOK via a wireless connection.—no need to transfer via the computer.
